The ESWAY ES-1402 City has received an update for 2015. ESWAY have increased the power of the ES-1402 by around 20% by increasing the voltage across the system from 36V to 48V.

Along with the 20% increase in 'System Power' ESWAY have added a brand new high capacity Lithium Power Cell (Battery pack) to give the 2015 ESWAY ES-1402 City a per charge travel range of around 25km for a 75kg driver.

After extensive testing here in Australia Milbay worked with the ESWAY factory to produce an Electric Chariot more suitable to drivers up to 100kg. The new 2015 ESWAY ES-1402 City provides drivers with the power required for a Safe and Stable driving experience.

Electric Chariots are excellent Personal Transport for around cities, factories, touring groups or as a Low Cost EV or Electric Vehicle within a 10km radius. ESWAY Electric Chariots are agile and will speedily get you to work, school or to carry out your daily driving needs in and around your suburb, able to climb up and down hills and easily negotiate the transition from footpath to road across hard, grass, dirt or sandy surfaces. The ESWAY ES-1402 City electric chariot is new form of economical green transport for a new way of living.

ESWAY Self Balancing Electric Chariots have very few controls for drivers to learn before being able to start enjoying the freedom of electric chariot driving. With only the power switch to turn On or Off and the handle bar for steering Electric Chariots may have the shortest learning time of any vehicle type.

As humans, most of us have been walking all our lives and it is an activity that we learn early and carry out without any effort throughout our lives.

ESWAY have harnessed this balancing skill we have been using all our lives and use it as the basis for the control of their vehicles. ESWAY call their Electric Chariots and Unicycles Thinking Vehicles because they drive forward and backwards just because the driver 'Thinks' this is what they want the vehicle to do.

It all seems quite unbelievable right !
What is actually happening is that the Solid State Gyrometers measure changes in tilt to a very fine degree and feed these changes instantly to the control processor which then calculates the vehicles 'State' and sends the correct power to the motors to produce the Dynamic Stability.

So to drive forward or backwards you do the same as you unconsciously do when you walk or run. When you go to walk forward you will move your weight forward just slightly, a little more if you are about to run, to maintain your center of gravity (balance). We just think about doing this action and our body looks after the finer details. It is this same process at work when driving an electric chariot or unicycle, there is an amazing symbiosis between our internal intuitive balance system developed through evolution and the Dynamic Stability control system of ESWAY Electric Chariots.

Free Mode
Free Mode allows drivers to turn on their ESWAY electric chariot via the remote control so that the chariot magically comes to life and stands up by itself ready for the driver to mount.
Free Mode is great for leading your ESWAY ES-1402 City across very rough terrain, very steep climbs or when it is unsafe for the driver to be on their chariot for some reason.
Excellent for parking your ESWAY electric chariot in tight spaces.
Set to Free Mode when driving up ramps into a transport vehicle, with or without the removable handle in place.
Speed Mode
Novice mode - Speed limited to 8km.
Great for beginners.
Extra safety when learning or supervising younger drivers.
Normal mode - speed not limited.
The ESWAY electric chariot will have full performance capabilities.
ESWAY Over Speed Protection
When the ES-1402 City reaches top speed the ESWAY Over-Speed Protection sends out an audible warning beep then smoothly raises the foot platform slightly to provide feed back to the driver that the maximum speed has been reached and the driver should relax into a cruise posture.

Milbay can install custom switching and additional batteries to further increase the travel distance of ESWAY Electric Chariots.
